  • Position: Registered Nurse - Interventional Radiology
  • Facility Department/Cost Center: 200255
  • Shift: 4x10, Variable Shifts to include some Saturdays
  • Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 40
  • Experience Required: Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience
  • Monitor patients, provide sedation and assist anesthesiologist with general anesthesia for common procedures such as stroke intervention, diagnostic and therapeutic angiography, kyphoplasties, biopsies, drains, clot retrieval, aneurysm coilings, and stents
  • Provides nursing services to Neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients and families
  • Requires scientific knowledge base and ongoing growth and learning

    • NV RN license required prior to start
    • Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
      • Schedule Information
      • Shift: 4x10, Variable Shifts to include some Saturdays
      • Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 40
      • Call Requirements: Call is required on some nights and some weekends
      • Travelers may be required to float to the needs of the organization up to their competency level
      • Will be expected to work 2/3 major holidays unless RTO is requested/approved
      • Required to pick up one additional shift during schedule period (every 4-weeks)
      • Renown has the right to call off, without penalty, 48 hours, for low census per 13-week contract. This may be full or partial shifts
      • Schedule varies based upon department needs
      • Schedule can include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Provides nursing services to Neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients and families
        • Requires scientific knowledge base and ongoing growth and learning
        • Coordinates care between other professionals as needed
        • Intensive continuous mental effort is required to provide optimal safe patient care

          • Travelers may be required to float to the needs of the organization up to their competency level
          • Renown has the right to call off, without penalty, 48 hours, for low census per 13-week contract. This may be full or partial shifts
